In November, 2014, the European Space Agency's Rosetta Mission made history by landing on a comet. While the spacecraft was on its way to catch the comet, we were asked to create an experience to celebrate this event. We were inspired by the moment when these "mountains of ice" get heated up by the sun and shoot out jets of water vapor and dust that eventually form into the long comet tail. We wanted to allow people to walk inside this growing comet tail and wonder how and why these celestial mysteries exist.
